Faith

Many of us see faith itself as if it were something you had to do or learn in order for God to love you and save you. But we have started at the wrong place. We're starting in the wrong place. The first thing we need is something we can't do for ourselves. We can't make the faith that will help us out of the fix we're in. God's track record of being faithful to us can lead us to being faithful to God. God's stubborn, and doesn't give up on us or give in to us. It's hard to win the trust of those we barely know or those we've betrayed, but God's way is a different, refreshing way. He keeps no records of wrongs. Faith is caught like a disease, not taught like a subject. Faith is the light that God fires inside of us to go out and share the gospel. I have had my struggles, but my faith in God has kept me going. I love him very very much, and He will always be there for me, and you.

--I like to think of this verse as God's definition of love, and it keeps me going every day-----
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres” (1Corinthians 13:4-7).
